Information for customers about the Do Not Call Register
What is the ‘Do Not Call Register’?
The Do Not Call Register was established by the Australian Government to address increasing concerns about the growth in unsolicited telemarketing calls to residential consumers. The register contains a database of Australian telephone numbers where individuals have chosen to opt out of receiving unsolicited telemarketing calls and marketing faxes.
Australian telephone numbers used primarily for private and domestic purposes are eligible for registration on the Do Not Call Register. This includes standard fixed line numbers, mobile phone numbers, and fax numbers.
