General modem configurations
In order to configure a modem, you will need to open your internet browser (Internet Explorer, Firefox, Google Chrome etc.) and enter the modem’s 'Default gateway' address into the address bar, as pictured below.

Once you have entered the gateway address, it should look similar to this:

You may be presented with a screen prompting you for a login. Different modems will have different default login details (most common is admin for both username and password). Please consult your modem guide to find the relevant information for you.
Once in the modem interface, you will need to enter the new username and password (as detailed in the letter we sent you). As above, different modems will have different configuration methods. Please consult your modem guide for specific modem configurations.
When configuring a modem, you may see many different settings or options as per the below image. If ever you are unsure, use the default settings. The only thing you should need to change is the username and password.

Should you have any difficulty in configuring your modem, you can consult our technical team for assistance. Contact us.
