We have established a community initiative to benefit local businesses, local families and local jobs.

Based on Bendigo Bank’s Community Bank® model, Suncoast Community Telco™ has a mandate to ensure that company 'profits are invested back into the local community’.

Our Community Telco™ aims:

• to capture financial capital that would otherwise leave the community
• to reinvest that capital locally
• to improve local infrastructure by pooling demand

Suncoast Community Telco™ is part of a national buying group. As the group’s buying base grows, so does its buying power. The key to the success of Suncoast Community Telco™ is pooling demand for telecommunications and buying from the one source – known as demand aggregation.

Many of Australia’s essential services are supplied by companies based in mainland capital cities. On the Sunshine Coast, approximately $260 million is spent each year on telecommunications and most of that money leaves the Coast.

If Sunshine Coast businesses use SCCT as their telecommunications service provider, that choice to 'stay local' will result in millions of dollars staying here on the Sunshine Coast.
